Triumphant is one whom Allaah confers victory and protected is one whom Allaah gives protection. Allaah also created for man a composed soul versus his ever-tempting soul. When one’s evil-tempting soul seduces him into committing a misdeed, his composed soul prevents him from it. Also when one’s ever evil-tempting soul prevents one from doing good, his easeful soul inspires him to do it.
